Enrichment Programs – Young Engineers
Welcome to e² Young Engineers website. This online community represents thousands of children around the world who participate in our unique enrichment programs. These programs teach scientific and mathematical principles through the use of K’NEX®, Engino® and LEGO® bricks. We are proud to introduce you to our fun and fulfilling methods of teaching and learning.
For the parents it’s an enrichment program-For the children it’s a game
Age: 4–6 years (preschool)
The K’nexers enrichment program develops tactile, motor, dexterity, and spatial skills while discovering solutions for introductory level engineering problems using K’NEX®. Children play together and learn about animals and transportation while simultaneously learning
principles of biology and geometry.
Suitable for: 1st-5th grade
The LEGO® bricks challenge program is designed to help participants learn physics and mathematics in an intuitive way. This enrichment program introduces elementary school age children to the basic principles of math and science by integrating engineering
fundamentals with the school curriculum.
Suitable for: 5th–9th grade OR LEGO Challenge graduates
The GaliLEGO program allows Young Engineers to investigate mechanical systems in a team based setting. Participants use team building exercises to discover the logic behind mechanical, mathematical and
physical aspects of machinery.
Robotics & Software Engineering
Suitable for: 5th–9th grade
The Robotics and Software Engineering program combines work and play to teach the theoretic of software and mechanics. During this lesson, students design and create robots using engineering software. Participants work in teams to optimize usage of
programming mechanisms used to operate their robot.
Young Engineers Special Workshops
e² Young Engineers has developed a number of special LEGO® brick workshops designed to enhance a number of one-off occasions, including birthday parties, summer camps, take your child to work days, adults and senior citizen, special needs as well as gifted children workshops.
